Why are some games not available on KnightTime+?

Fri, 19 Sep, 2025 at 4:06 PM

KnightTime+ offers fans an exciting way to follow the Vegas Golden Knights. However, it's important to understand that certain games are subject to blackout restrictions due to exclusive broadcasting agreements with the NHL's national partners, ESPN and Turner Sports.

What does this mean for you?

  • Games broadcast exclusively by ESPN or Turner Sports will not be available on KnightTime+. If a game is designated as an exclusive broadcast for either of these national networks, you will not be able to stream it through your KnightTime+ subscription.

  • These blackout rules are a result of league-wide media rights agreements. The NHL has established these partnerships to ensure broad national distribution of its games, and these agreements grant exclusive broadcast rights to specific networks for certain matchups.

How to stay informed:

To ensure you have the most up-to-date information on which games are affected by these blackouts and to learn about the available broadcasters for each game, we strongly recommend visiting the official  Vegas Golden Knights Broadcast Schedule. This comprehensive schedule, typically found on the team's official website, provides detailed information on all upcoming games, including:

  • Game dates and times

  • Opponents

  • Designated broadcast channels (both national and local)

  • Any applicable blackout information

By regularly checking the Vegas Golden Knights Broadcast Schedule, you can plan your viewing experience accordingly and avoid any surprises when trying to access games through KnightTime+. We appreciate your understanding of these broadcast limitations as we strive to bring you the best possible coverage of the Vegas Golden Knights.
